Oh my god! Cooking sauces are inspired by recipes from around the world and hand-made on the northern fringes of Staffordshire, England.
Excepting salt ALL our ingredients are grown or extracted from plants using processes considered natural. We don’t use compound ingredients such as ketchup or Worcestershire sauce. Neither do we use man-made or animal-based products in our sauces. Despite some of their names like ‘Marinade sauce for White Meat’ all sauces are perfectly satisfactory for vegetarians and vegans.
Many of our ingredients such as tomatoes, peppers tamarind, honey, molasses (sugarcane) require either summer sun or tropical climes to grow. Whatever the season, wherever you use our sauce; Street BBQ in August, Bonfire in November, family get together in December, Sunday lunch in March or April you’ll always be adding a healthy dose of sunshine to lighten any moment no matter the weather.
According to our local Trading Standards Office. There are currently no definitive definitions as to what words like ‘natural’ mean. We have taken their guidelines as to the use of various terms and further more define them for you in this section as follows:-
Natural:- Natural refers to products that occur naturally on earth or are extracted from natural processes or traditional processes. To give you some examples:-
Ingredients such as tomatoes, tamarind, honey, salt etc are ingredients that occur naturally and we use them pretty much as they are appear, packaging excepted of course, in the case of tomatoes, honey or salt.
Ingredients such as molasses and vinegar are not naturally occurring ingredients. However they are made from naturally occurring ingredients using traditional processes.
